KIM & DELVIN NATHANIEL – Symbolic Wedding on the Amalfi Coast

I've been meaning to write sooner but things have been so hectic since we
made it back to the States and I haven't had the chance.  We wanted to thank
you and the other agents of Travel Plans International for helping us plan
an exquisite wedding and trip to Italy.  Your documents were clear and
concise (although Kim and I had a few misadventures getting around) and the
accomodations you arranged were top-notch.  We particularly loved Hotel Covo
dei Saraceni in Positano; absolutely beautiful.  And our little ceremony at
the Hotel le Agavi surpassed our expectations.

Please send our thanks to Signore Andrea Paolillo for performing a memorable
ceremony (he skipped out while we were taking pictures so we didn't get a
chance to say goodbye).  Also, regards to Simonetta, our musicians, and the
photographer and videographer for the fine photographs.  We cannot forget
Gugliermo of the Hotel le Agavi; he was very friendly and considerate of our
needs during the ceremony.

Thanks once again.  We will certainly use Travel Plans International for our
future adventures worldwide.

Sincerely,
Delvin and Kimberly

TYNA AND ERIK CROES  Wedding in Tuscany (Certaldo)

(Because of a medical emergency, this wedding was planned with 3 weeks notice and was complicated by the fact that Erik lives in the U.S. but is a citizen of Holland.)

Erik’s first message from Tuscany:

Our plans for tomorrow are as follows. We will be at the Dutch consulate in Florence before it opens up and wait till they open, so we are the first ones in line. Hopefully, (reference to Dutch Consulate in Houston deleted by TPI), will have faxed all the necessary information to the Dutch consulate in Florence. Let's hope the Nulla Osta will be issued right away. In the meantime, Helga, our contact person here, will be waiting for us at the American consulate and keep a spot open for us in line. The American consulate closes at 11:00 am, so we have to make sure we have all our paperwork in order before then. After that we need to go to Certaldo to get the paperwork with the Italians completed.

Email us back PLEASE if there are any questions or if we need to do anything to expedite this process.

 Sincerely,

 Erik

 Erik’s second message from Tuscany:

 Hello Mike,

As you know, everything went well. Today was our first day where we didn't have to worry about anything and just do what we pleased. Tomorrow is our big day. Hopefully we will have some time to send you some pictures after the wedding tomorrow. Thank you for everything and take care,

A very happy and appreciative Erik (and Tyna of course)

EMILY COX AND MICHAEL KMETZ– Civil wedding in Florence –

Hello !

Let me start by saying that your service exceeded our expectations in every way!  Emily and I could not have been happier with the way things went on our wedding day.  Because we contacted you only a month before we were to get married we were not expecting much but we were totally delighted with everything.  Helga was fantastic and we could not have had a better person assisting us.  We were relived to have someone aid us with the paperwork and who knew the authorities in Florence so well.  The wedding dinner at Leo in Santa Croce was terrific.  He was a most gracious host and the food was wonderful!

As for the hotels in Venice and Rome, they were both great.  We really appreciate you being able to work out better rates for us.  We would recommend these hotels to anyone.

Your service is terrific.  We would gladly recommend you to others planning on getting married in Italy.  Please feel free to use our comments or use us as reference.

BRANDICE RUSSELL AND KENT EASTWOOD – Civil wedding in Tuscany (Siena) –

Thank you ever so much for planning our wonderful week in Italy and for making our wedding so very special! We cannot begin to ever give you enough thanks for all the help you gave us in planning and while we were in Italy!. Silvio, our Chianti tour guide was amazing! Daniella, our interpreter was so helpful and sweet. Stefanie, my witness, was very kind.

There are just not enough words to express exactly how we feel.

You will remain sincerely in our hearts,

Kent Eastwood and Brandi Russell-Eastwood

DION & LUCJA LEONARD – Civil wedding in Tuscany (Certaldo) –

We had a fantastic & memorable wedding day in a fantastic location.  Our day  was absolutely perfect!  We were a bit apprehensive booking everything by email, and having never been to Certaldo before, were hoping that we had made the right choice.  But we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

The wedding day was sensational, and will be a day to remember for all, not just us.  And the reception at Osteria del Vicario was absolutely delectable and worth a Michelin Star!  The service was superb as well.

We stayed in a fantastic 3 bedroom apartment in the old town of Certaldo, called La Fridina (www.lafridina.it), and the people were so friendly and helpful.  Our guests stayed in the main town at Casa Gori and it was great too, I would advise though for the wedding couple to stay in the old town for the ease of being so close for the big day.  We can’t wait to go back and spend anniversaries reliving the memories of the best day of our lives!

Your assistance was great, so thank you Sonia.  And a special thanks to both Daniella’s that assisted us with our various paperwork, both in Milan and Certaldo, we couldn’t have done it without you, and the professional way we were handled by all was fantastic and we would highly recommend Wedding Italy to anyone.

 Best Wishes

 Dion and Lucja Leonard

DARREN BOND & ERICA CHAPMAN – civil wedding in Verona,

We had a really good time thanks.  Everything went according to plan and all the accommodation and flights I booked for everyone was fine.

Beatrice was great.  We spent an enjoyable few hours with her on Thursday visiting the different locations.  She also took us on a bit of a tour and being a tour guide as well, she was very knowledgeable and so that very interesting.

The hotel was in a brilliant location, making it very easy to get to the tomb.  The staff were extremely helpful and we would definitely stay there again.

Juliet's tomb was a very nice place to get married.  The music was great and perfect for the venue.  Silvio the photographer was good as we could do what we wanted.

The restaurant was great.  Very smart, although the final cost for the meal was a little bit more than we were expecting!  But everyone enjoyed it and loved the Roman ruins in the cellar.  The owner and staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.  They were very accommodating and we were made to feel very welcome.

Oh, and you didn't sort the sun out for us!  The first couple of days were nice and hot and luckily it was dry when we walked from the tomb to restaurant but then it rained for a couple of days.  We didn't think Italy had rain!  Unfortunately it was cloudy in Lake Garda too so we couldn't sunbathe which was a shame - but you can't plan everything!

Please feel free to use any of our comments and give out my email address if you would like to use us as a reference for future clients.

And please pass on our thanks to Silvio, Alberto and in particular Beatrice for their help in making the day go to plan and making it very special. Thanks for everything,

 Darren and Erica (Bond!)

ANDREW & JAMIE GORDON – Symbolic wedding in Venice –

Hi Michela,

We wanted to extend to you our thanks for giving us such extraordinary memories of our wedding day!  I'm still in  awe with how beautiful everything was, and beautifully everything went.  It can be quite nerve racking trying to plan such a momentous occasion so far away.  Neither of us had ever even been to Italy, however I have always been enamored by your country, the history, the beauty, the art, what is there not to fall in love with.  Seeing it in person took our breath away!

We were treated so well at the Palazzo, it was hard to say goodbye when it came time to leave.  They had great recommendations for everything and nothing was ever to much trouble.  Between you and the staff at the we really didn't feel overwhelmed or nervous about a thing, I don't even think we ever really had to think about any logistics.  From getting our friends and family together and picked up, to getting me down the isle,  to our after-wedding toast, to our gondola ride,  to our rendezvous back with our guest,  for a drink in St. Marks square, to our final soiree at the restaurant, it was flawless and lively.  We never felt like we had to worry about a thing.   Like the other guests, we were able to just be along for the ride.  Compliments to you, this was the best wedding we had ever been to, and it was our own!  I think for some, there is so much preoccupation with details during their wedding that they don't have the opportunity to just be along for the ride.

We received the pictures, can I say WOW, they truly are beautiful.  Venice is the perfect backdrop!  It only solidifies our whole experience.  The photographer you arranged was extremely talented and professional... he really made us look good!

Michela, thank you so much, for your knowledge and experience and your genuine personality.  You were such a pleasure to work with, Wedding Italy is very lucky to have you, and we were even more lucky to have you as our planner.

Sincerely,

Andy and Jamie Gordon

JACQUELINE AND TONY RIDER – CIVIL WEDDING in Orta San Giulio

Thanks for your note below. The wedding day was great, the weather was perfect and everybody really enjoyed themselves in Orta San Giulio. It was the most perfect location for us to be married and we will never forget the day!!

I just can't think of anything negative to comment upon...

The Hotel, the location, the flowers, the ceremony, the boat trip and the reception all were just great...we owe a great deal of thanks for all your help, for making it a really special day for us both.

Kind regards, Tony and Jacqueline Rider

GINA AND JUSTIN SCHWARTZ – CIVIL WEDDING in Venice –

We're now back in the US after visiting Vienna, Genoa and Paris. Our trip was great.

Here are our thoughts on your services.

For the most part, everything was excellent, and we greatly appreciated that anytime a problem arose, you were very fast at finding a solution. Though we haven't seen the photos yet, the photographer seemed to really know how to photograph a Venice wedding and also seemed to really enjoy it. The flowers were also excellent - Gina received many compliments. The restaurant that we went to after the wedding was also excellent.

One thing that could be improved is letting people know that irons will not be available from hotels to use for ironing anything (we were told in Genoa that it's illegal in Italy for a hotel to loan an iron to someone). It seems likely that most people that travel to their wedding site will need to have their dress/tuxedo/etc. ironed - so more readily available information for that would be good. As it turned out, the place by the Giorgione was very good -- but we didn't anticipate that it would be difficulty. Another thing that Americans in general would need to know (this isn't wedding related) is that you can't eat between 3 and 7 pm!

Feel free to use our comments in any way, and thank you so much for helping with all the details.

PATRICIA MARESH & STEVEN SMART– Catholic WEDDING in Rome (St. Peter Basilica) –

I wanted to thank you so much for a beautiful wedding day!  Father John was perfect, the chapel couldn't be more beautiful and the flowers went so well with my dress. Eli was marvelous!!  She even sang us a song at our wedding luncheon!  She has a BEAUTIFUL voice.  The food at the restaurant, TABERNA DEI GRACCHI, was the best we had all trip, especially the wedding cake.  Just when we thought we couldn't eat any more, this delicious wedding cake comes out!  Some even had TWO pieces!!!  I cannot wait to see the pictures and the video to relive the dayJ

Also, Mauro, our driver did an excellent job of getting us to and from the airport and taking Steve and I on a tour of Italy.  He was very helpful with Steve being on crutches and/or in a wheel chair.  He is a great tour guide!

Thank you, thank you , thank you for making my wedding day a day I will always remember!

 Sincerely,

 Pat Smart

HELEN SMITH AND MARC SUMNER – CIVIL WEDDING in Florence –

We had a fantastic time in Florence, and really enjoyed our wedding day. Our guests enjoyed it too! Florence really was our dream come true location for our wedding. Helga was helpful once we got over the mix up with meeting her!! she thought we were meeting on the Friday... never mind it all worked out, our paperwork was all in order.

The flowers were lovely and the Baglioni had made a wonderful cake and meal thanks to your conversations with them, everything went smoothly. Including the meal in the evening. We had our rings made in one day by Casseti on the Ponte Vecchio who I can highly recommend to any of your clients.

The only thing, I was a little disapointed with was the horse and carriage, it was no different to any of the ones availible to tourists around Florence, I was hoping it would have been a little smarter, the owner could have made more effort considering the amount we had to pay him. Also it was a shame to find we were not the last wedding in the sala rossa, so I felt a little presure to leave the room quickly. Still it did not spoil our day, and we are looking forward to seeing the photos soon.

I am happy for you to use any of our comments and recommend your services highly to any future clients.

 Best regards and thanks

Helen

TAMARA WIMER and ADAM GOLEBIOWSKI – CIVIL WEDDING in Portovenere (Italian Riviera)–

Thank you very much for your very sweet email.  You and Alessandro were simply fantastic!!!!  Our wedding at Castello Doria was beyond memorable.  All of our guests were deeply moved by the location, the amazing energy, and the overall experience.  We attached a couple of photos for you to review.  We were also so busy with things around the time of the wedding that we never sent you the cd.  We planned to give an extra one to Alessandro... But we were just so busy and time was very limited.  Anyway, we will send it to you soon.  Thank you for your patience.

Thank you once again for all of your hard work.  Our wedding was blissful, romantic, and our hearts and spirits will be eternally etched with the loving ambience and energy that PortoVenere and beautiful Castle Doria provided.  We would also highly recommend The Hotel/ristorante Albergo Paradiso for future clients.  They were absolutely extraordinary, very professional, and so very kind.  Our guests were deeply enchanted by the entire experience at castello Doria and at Hotel Paradiso as well!!!  Bravo!!!!!

Here are some photos for you to review.  We have 80 billion photos of course :)  But with limited time tonight, these were the ones that we could attach.

Thank you once again Sonia for everything.  You are fantastic!!!!!

CARRIE ANNE JARRELL e THAD SPENCER  – CIVIL WEDDING in Florence–

Firstly, thank you so much for your efficiency and quick work in helping to solve our queries and last minute problems. If it wasn't for this our day would have been only half as wonderful as it was.

We have both been so impressed with the level of service we have received and the "can do" attitude of Wedding Italy and yourself. We thought that the prices were extremely reasonable and that the entire day was organised perfectly. The response of Wedding Italy from the quote to each individual request was very fast and we feel all the stress of organising a wedding was taken from our shoulders.

I would also like to say how lovely it has been to speak and correspond with you. You have been so friendly, cheerful and lovely each time I have contacted you which has been far above the highest level of customer service. You have also made us both feel that our day was so under control that we were confident that it would be perfect before it had arrived.

The wedding day was wonderful and the people involved in the ceremony were very sincere and made it all feel very special. We were so pleased to be thanked by the City for choosing to be married there and to receive a silver skyline from them.

Thank you so very much.

Also, thank you for our lovely evening meal at the Villa del Cora, it was very romantic and the food and service were excellent.

If you ever wish to give our details to future customers for a  reference then please do, we will be sure to tell them what a great job has been done.

We enjoyed Florence very much and will be sure to come and visit for anniversaries as the city has a special meaning for us, and we look forward seeing more of Italy.

Warmest Regards,

Thad and Carrie-Anne Spencer

KEALY DEDMAN and KENNETH DePODESTA  – CIVIL WEDDING in Florence–

Thank you for the good wishes.  We just arrived back from our trip -and what a spectacular trip it was!   We are so thrilled with how everything worked out so perfectly the wedding.

Your assistance prior to the wedding was invaluable, and all of our wishes were exceeded when it came time for the actual event.  Our interpreter and wedding coordinator, Helga Maria-Marcks, was not only helpful, but a real a pleasure to have present.  As well, our flowers arrived as planned and were beautiful.

We received the wedding photos in the mail yesterday and they are stunning!  Mr. Bruno was a true professional and we are very pleased with the prints.  Thanks to you also for ensuring that the photos were

delivered to us in time for our reception at home.  (I will attach one of our favourite photos to this email - you can see we are very happy!)

The sightseeing tour of the Chianti region that you had arranged for  after our wedding ceremony was unforgettable!  Mr. Silvio was a fantastic guide, and the restaurant that he chose for our dinner was perfect as it highlighted the beautiful countryside and delicious Italian cuisine.

We are so pleased that we decided to arrange our wedding in Florence through you and Wedding Italy.  It has been a truly wonderful experience.   Thank you very much.

Again, thank you so very much for all of your assistance!

Best Regards,

Kealy and Ken DePodesta

ALLISON AND EVEGENY, – Castle wedding

 Dear Alberto,

I cannot fully express how grateful Evgeny and I are to you and everyone at

Punto di Fuga for making our wedding the fabulous event that it was, but I

will try in this letter!

The organization, dedication, time and effort that everyone at the company

put in was overwhelming.  I enjoyed meeting and working with you, Sonia, Michela and Barbara very much.

From the moment I saw Castello I knew it was where I wanted to be

married and you made that dream a reality.  The location is breathtaking and

I adore the landscape of vineyards and flowers in every direction.

The ceremony outside was well organized, the food and wine top quality, and the music and dancing at the end of the night great fun for everyone. All of

the services your company provided, especially the videographer and photographer, were the best quality I have seen (for a wedding or otherwise)

and we were extremely satisfied with the results.

Since our wedding was a multi-cultural destination event (I am an American

and Evgeny is Russian, and we live in Prague) and our guests travelled from

abroad, we had many factors to consider when planning it and you handled

everything with ease. You listened patiently to every suggestion I made, and

sorted out all the small details so I didn’t have to do much at all on my

wedding day.  From accommodations for guests to the rehearsal dinner, you

were on top of what was going on and that was such a relief.

The day of the wedding, you were so nervous that people might have thought

it was your own wedding and not mine! That is what makes you and your

company so unique; the genuine care and drive to succeed in all that you do

is something hard to find these days.

All of our friends and family were greatly impressed by the scenery, high

quality service, organization, food and especially the wine!  The surprise

tour of the wine cellar was definitely a highlight of the day.

My only regret is that it is over and I can’t do it all again soon (maybe

if I’m lucky, for our 10th or 25th anniversary, we can rent the castle to

celebrate!).  Thanks again for an unforgettable time to be remembered with

joy for years to come.  Good luck with all your future projects and please

give our thanks to everyone at the company.

Best wishes,

Allison and Evgeny Konovalov

CLIONA COYLE and ROBERT HENDERSON &  – CIVIL WEDDING in BARGA – AUGUST 6TH,

We have had a wonderful time and thankfully everything was stress free and much more than we could have hoped for!

We met with Helga , who was extremely helpful with everything and took the tension out of the whole legal side of things.

it was a pleasure to meet her and without her help we would have struggled with the Italian lingo and she

even organised that our parking ticket be waived on our wedding day!

Thanks for your help and we are glad to say that we booked you to help us through - it was worth every penny.

Cliona Henderson

LINDSEY AND SIMON COOPER – CATHOLIC WITH CIVIL BINDING WEDDING  in Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany –

All the thoughts and dreams that we had for our wedding day seem insignificant when compared with how beautiful the day actually was. This was thanks to the wonderful and professional assistance we had from Barbara, including everything from helping to choose the menu to sorting out complicated paperwork. Organising a wedding through e-mail seemed scary at first but after the initial decision, Wedding Italy made the rest very easy. We just had to decide what it was that we wanted and we had our questions answered and requests met immediately.

Everything about the day was so perfect that it almost felt like a dream. The wedding service was very personal to us, and the priest, Don Gino, made both us and all our guests feel very welcome in his church. I was a little anxious about booking flowers and music without personal contact but when the flowers arrived they were exactly as I'd asked for, as were the church and reception displays. The string quartet in the church played so beautifully and were admired by all our guests. They set the perfect mood for the romantic wedding we had hoped for. Our photographer was very pleasant, friendly and professional, taking endless amounts of photographs, both formal and informal, and also being very patient whilst I requested many specific family poses.

L'Albergaccio Restaurant gave us a fantastic reception. A wonderful professional service with the most fantastic food I had ever tasted. The location of the restaurant could not have been more romantic - views all around of the Tuscan hills. Again, Barbara had booked a fantastic jazz band for our reception music and everything from the aperitives on the terrace to the transport home was exactly as had been arranged.

Our whole week in Italy with our family and friends was wonderful and our wedding day truly was everything we could have ever hoped for and more. The best decision we ever made was to get married in Italy and Barbara and her colleagues made the entire experience, from organising to celebrating, not only enjoyable but as stress-free as possible. We would definitely recommend using them and we look forward to returning to the picturesque Castellina to reminisce.

CLAIRE HARTSHORN AND LEE KEANE – CIVIL WEDDING IN POSITANO –

 Hi Martina,

Once again, thank you for all of your assistance at our wedding on 4 August. It was beautiful and we both enjoyed every minute of the day and every minute of our trip to Italy. In fact we were so overwhelmed by Positano that we cut short our trip to Rome and travelled back to Positano to spend a few more days there. We even changed our flights home so we could have an extra few days there.

The photographer said that it would take a few weeks to get the photographs ready and he said he would send them to you for you to forward to me and I therefore look forward to receiving the photographs from you as soon as you receive them.

Finally, because of all of the excitement of the wedding ceremony we did not check what documents we had been given by the town hall. When we did eventually check what we had been given we had only received one copy of the marriage certificate. Given the language barrier I would be grateful if you could arrange for a copy of the certificate to be sent to me as soon as possible in order that we can make the necessary changes and arrangements here in the UK. My new address details are below.

Thank you in anticipation of your kind assistance.

 Kind Regards

 Lee Keane

PAUL MARTIN & MELANIE JONES – CIVIL WEDDING IN POSITANO (21st April, )

Hi Martina,

Firstly, thank you for your warm congratulations.  We had an absolutely wonderful time in Italy and both wish we were still there.

Paul and I wanted to thank you very much for the organisation of our wedding day.  Everything went perfectly on the day, even the weather.

The restaurant was fabulous.  The food was wonderful, the table settings were lovely and the staff were also extremely attentive.

Both of the translators that you organised for us at the Embassy in Rome and in Positano were efficient, punctual and extremely friendly and helpful.

The wedding photos were received on Monday and we are very happy with them.

We would also strongly recommend staying at Buca di Bacco.   The hotel was beautiful and perfectly situated and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Thank you again for all your help in making our wedding day so perfect and memorable.  We would definitely recommend your company to others.

Warm regards,

Melanie and Paul.

KELLIE CAVAGNOLO & BRENT BAUER – WEDDING IN POSITANO (1st April )

Hi Martina,

Our wedding was beautiful.  Ms. Giaovanna was wonderful and everyone in

Positano were so friendly and helpful, it truly is a beautiful place inside

and out!  It was no problem at all to pay the extra money in Naples; we are

just so appreciative of everyone's kind assistance.  The day of the ceremony

was beautiful and warm and ended in a heavy rain which I hear is good luck!

The people at the VIlla Rosa were amazing, they were so helpful to all of

our guests and sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers the day of the wedding

at the Covo.  The experience was truly a dream come true for both of us and

we will always cherish our days in Positano.  The Positano Car Service was

also very helpful, they drove us to a lemoncello factory on our way to

Positano from Naples and we hired them for a few more excursions last week.

And the Ii Ritrovo was absolutely the best!  Our meal and cake was

wonderful, all of our guests were so incredibly impressed with the quality

and presentation of the food.  It truly was the perfect day and night!

I was looking over the instructions and noticed that there is one more

procedure we must do through the Republic ? to make our wedding official, it

says we can have an assistant help us?  Does this sound familiar, is there

anything else we must do, paperwork wise?  We did get 3 copies of our

marriage certificate from Ms. Giovanna.

We are in Venice now and will fly to Greece tomorrow, I'll try and check our

email in the next few days.

 Thank you for everything.  Kellie

KARI RITZ & GREG THIESSEN – Civil wedding in CERTALDO (March 25th, )

 Hi Sonia,

I apologize for it taking us so long to get back to you.  Greg and I have been extremely busy as we have moved to Denver, Colorado and Greg has started a new job.  The last two months we have been constantly packing and unpacking and have sold one house and bought another.

Our wedding was truly a wonderful day to remember, not only for us, but for all of our guests.  The food and wine at the Osteria del Vicario was spectacular.  The tour of Tuscany was also a highlight for all.  All of our guests commented that the wedding and Certaldo/Tuscany was best part of their Italian vacation.  All of our meetings with each person for the paperwork also went as smoothly as we could have hoped for.  When you arrange a wedding over the internet you definitely put a lot of trust in the coordinator to insure that everything turns out well - we were never disappointed!

Thanks again Sonia, for all of your help!  Kari

CAROL LORENE JAMBURA AND IAN JONATHAN BULL – Civil wedding in Siena 31st December

 Martina:

Finally, a spot of free time!  Our thanks again for your wonderful assistance on our wedding.  It was such a blast!  We want to do it every year (paperwork aside).

In any case, our feedback is pretty short:

·         Communication process was good -- during the several weeks you were gone, it was a bit hairy on our side.  Having a mechanism for responses/contact while you are away would be a great comfort.

·         The paperwork process is what it is -- nothing you can do about that.  Thanks for spelling things out so thoroughly.

·         When having people meet us, there was no way to identify us/them.  Consider having your interpreters & on-site assistants wear some identifying piece of clothing (e.g., look for the blonde in the red scarf, etc...) or have them hold a placard with our names on it.

That's about it.  The process was pretty smooth, timing nice and your recommendations on various locations excellent.

We received the photographs last week, and they look terrific.  Please give our regards to both Silvio and our photographer.  Silvio, by the way, is a treasure.  We so enjoyed meeting him and hope to coordinate a future visit to Tuscany through him.

With your permission, I'd like to give your name and contact info to my dressmaker.  She had a customer considering a wedding in Firenze, and she's trying to organize things on her own.  I told her I'd happily put her in touch with you, should you both be ok with that.

Again, our thanks, and best wishes to you!

Carol (& Ian)

MICHELLE PEAKE & JASON SMITH – Civil Wedding in Florence

 Hi Michela,

Sorry it took me so long to write you back, but work has been hectic ever since we returned.

The wedding was wonderful!  It was everything and even more than I could have ever dreamed.  The wedding day went extremely smoothly.  Helga was there to take care of every question and to calm our nerves.  Everyone that we came into contact with (arranged by you) was exceptionally pleasant and helpful.  The owner of the bed and breakfast had to deal with our families calling us at late hours trying or arrange a meeting place and he always hand delivered every message.  The hairdresser did an amazing job on my hair.  He made me feel like a princess.  The florist came promptly and delivered beautiful flowers.  Helga was there keeping us sane and answering all of our crazy questions.  The driver was hilarious, which was also calming, and told us funny stories about when he married his wife in the same place.  The town hall was magnificently beautiful and the counsellor that married us made everyone feel comfortable.  Most of all though, Helga was fantastic to work with and is someone that I will always remember.  When the very sweet photographer ran us around the city taking pictures, Helga was there making sure that I wasn't too cold or that my feet didn't hurt too badly.

The reception was wonderful and my picky mother loved the food (you were right).  Everyone at the

restaurant was exceptionally nice.  The main waiter told us funny stories about his ex-wife which was extremely entertaining.  Both of our families enjoyed the food, the entertainment, and the view.  Thank you for talking me into having the reception at this restaurant.  I had no need to worry about my picky mother.

Michela, I am so thankful to you for planning the most amazing time ever for the both of us.  Not only the wedding but also the honeymoon was wonderful. There wasn't a single thing that I would have changed or done differently.

Everything that you promised us happened and was even better than we thought.  We are forever grateful to you for making our wedding and honeymoon a time that both of us will remember and cherish.  Please use what ever you wish for the website.  I can write something more formal if you would like and please feel free to use any pictures if you like.

Thank you so much Michela!

RUTH MCELHINNEY & ANDREW CREIGHTON - S. Pietro Chapel €“ Positano

Dear Martina,

We've been away for the last few weeks hence the delayed response.

Firstly, Many Thanks to both yourself and Laura for all your help planning

our wedding. We had a perfect day. The church of San Pietro was exactly as

we imagined and of course, the views around Positano are breathtaking. It's

a stunning location. I would imagine that the official photographs will

capture many of the wonderful memories. When do you think we'll receive

them?

The wedding co-ordinator in Positano also deserves special praise. She was

great - she made everyone feel very much at ease and ensured that everything

ran smoothly. She also did a good job keeping our 18 month old daughter

entertained.......not easy when shes tired & grumpy!

Fr John turned out to be very amicable. He pretty much allowed our priest to

do everything (he stayed in the background and having witnessed our vows he

declared the marriage official). All the worry and confusion beforehand was

for nothing!

We had a nice time at the hotel Murano. On the day of the wedding we had a

champagne reception there before going for dinner. As you know, we booked

our own restaurant - Lo Guaracino. It was excellent - yet another stunning

location. The food was super - and there were no problems ordering from the

full menu. We were very impressed.

I certainly would have no hesitation recommending your service to others!

 Regards,

 Ruth

JENNIFER POOLE – SYMBOLIC WEDDING IN VENICE PALAZZO

"How can we describe how wonderful our wedding was, thanks mostly to the

hard work and great taste of Alberto, our WeddingItaly coordinator.  We

first had the idea of getting married in Italy but were put off by the

thought of trying to find and negotiate with suppliers and venues, and

dealing with accommodation for our guests.  Our co-ordinator Alberto Ciani

handled all these details for us and we were left to the pleasant business

of choosing among the various alternatives Alberto provided.  He quickly

assessed our budget and found things to our taste within this budget, and

he steered us away from common pitfalls.

We were married in a beautiful 14-century palazzo, and we hired the entire

place so that the family could all stay together for the wedding weekend.

Our wedding had 100 guests, mostly from Europe and the Americas.  We did

the civil wedding in our home country of the UK, and we followed that with

our wedding celebration in Italy.  This was a stress-free way to get

married and have the flexibility to use any vows we wished in our Italian

ceremony.  (None of our guests knew that our ceremony wasn't the legal

one, and that really had no impact on the day.)

Alberto co-ordinated all the details including accommodation and travel

assistance for the guests, planning extra events the week of the wedding,

negotiating with suppliers, and dealing with any and all last minute

details.  He was organized, and always responded immediately to our many

questions and concerns.  He even managed to acquire live chickens for us

when a family member decided that he wished to perform a magic trick two

days before the wedding -- clearly above and beyond the call of duty for a

wedding planner!  The photographer and videographer Alberto provided were

excellent, as were the catering, venue, and music.  The officiant and the

translator were both charming, professional and knowledgeable.

Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended

(including their own!).

We had always heard that planning a wedding (especially planning a wedding

for 100 people in a foreign country) is an extremely stressful and trying

time for a couple and that you are so busy running around that you don't

really get to enjoy the day yourselves.  In our case, because of Alberto's

work, this was absolutely the opposite of what we felt.  With Alberto

handling all the stress before, during, and after the wedding, we were

free to just enjoy the entire period.  Planning our wedding was one of the

most fun things we've done, and the three days of the wedding weekend were

definitely the best three days in our lives!

Feel free to contact us for references or more details or advice.

Hi Alberto,

I wanted to say thank you and express our gratitude for all of your work.

Absolutely everything exceeded our expectations.  Not a single aspect of the

ceremony was incorrect--in fact it was like a fairy tale wedding for us!  Fonte

de Medici was a perfect spot for my family to stay and we enjoyed the intimacy

it allowed.  We are so happy we chose to work with you and thank you again.  If

you ever need a reference for any other couples we would be more than happy to

tell them our story.

 Thank you again.

Hello Alberto,

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you and your associates for a truly memorable wedding!  The castle was lovely, Silvio was very professional and charming, and everything went as planned.  I particularly enjoyed the flowers!  Lindsey told me later, "It was like a fairy tale".

We all enjoyed exploring your beautiful country.  I hope we can return some day and spend more time - Fonte de Medici was very relaxing and comfortable.  I wish we had spent more time there and less time at the "tourist spots".

Thanks again for creating a beautiful memory.

Hi Michela

How are you?  Sorry it has taken me a while to reply but have been well busy since we got back. I would like to say thank you so much to you and Laura and Daniela for the most perfect day ever. The Venue was beautiful and the service was perfect. It was all about love and family and children which was beautiful. The classical guitarist really topped it off too. The boat trips were fantastic and we found the most fantastic little train which went from the Villa Crespi to the Town Square so all the guests caught it down and back to the service. I have sent you a picture of it. It was a euro each and was brilliant for getting down the cobbled streets with new shoes on. Of course I arrived by boat which was fantastic and the whole iron gates opening into a new beginning was exactly what I wanted.  The people in Italy were great too and all clapped as you walk through the town. They make you feel very special.

I haven’t seen the professional photos yet but he was showing us some of the pictures he had taken on the camera and they were very unusual and very nice. He was very patient with us as the children got hungry and Daniella very kindly ran off to get them some food (I had made them some but the men forgot to bring the sandwiches, They remembered the champagne though!)

The Villa Crespi was amazing and the food and the service was the best I have ever had and I don’t think I will get service like that again. The room we had was perfect too. It was definitely the right choice the more expensive one would have been a bit of a waste unless you were getting ready there in the morning.  So although it was fairly expensive it was fantastic.

The whole day was more then I could of hoped for and thank you so much.

Of course the next day when we sorted the bill out was a bit confusing but they were so nice about it and you were so helpful even though it was your weekend and you were in London.  If I had of remembered to take the list of what I had paid for it would have been much easier.

I’m so glad I booked my wedding through you and took the advice of previous couples. I am going to email a couple of them back with a photo and to say thanks to them too.

If ever you need a reference I would be more than happy to give one or you can use any of this.

And I will definitely call you when I get married again!

 ONLY JOKING!!

 Thank you so much

Hi Michela,

Thank you for your email. Yes it all went very well. We had a wonderful time in Italy and we arrived home safely & married. We thought that everything went extremely well and according to plan, like clockwork. Nicholas was very Polite and professional. He was on time every time and was calling the car company to make sure that they were on their way. I think he was a little nervous, I got the impression that he hadn't done it too many times before but that was not a problem he handled everything very well.

The hair stylist was great, the flowers were perfect, the Violinist was excellent the photographs... I haven't seen yet, I'll let you know. The dinner was out of this world. I can see why it is known as possibly the best restaurant in Italy - They even came out with a wedding cake (I'm sure that was your doing). So thank you very much for everything.

We are very happy with the services that you provided and cannot think of anything that you could have done better. We would be happy to recommend you to anyone and we are happy for you to use our comments.

The restaurant that you recommended could not have been better.  You helped me out immensely and I want to thank you for your services.

I can't wait to get the pictures back.  Everyone wants to see them.

Hi Alberto

Just a short note to say a million thanks for what indeed turned out to be a special and totally memorable day. I will send a proper note later as we only arrived back from Italy yesterday but the last week was a bit of a disaster as Hannah our 6yr old took very sick with a stomach virus and we spent the whole time indoors with a doctor calling to us to get and keep her temperature down. Needless to say we are shattered but nothing will take away our memories of that day and I particularly have to add how much Silvio made it all calm in the middle of chaos

Will as I say give you a proper thanks later when we catch our breath as I know Claire has more than a few things to say

Much love

Walking down the street in my wedding gown was quite an experience. Everyone was smiling and waving and wishing us the best. They we talking pictures of us also. Everyone was just so excited for us. It was like something on you would see on TV. We definatly made the right choice in picking such a small beautiful town. Everyone knew everyone there. It was small, quiet, peaceful and so beautiful which made it so much more relaxing and memorable. We could see the castle we were married in straight outside our hotel balcony. Anna was great. She was on top of everything. I cant wait for our pictures! I will email some to you as soon as I get them.

Hi Alberto,

I arrived back in England on Saturday, but unfortunately I was back at work today L   I enjoyed the first week of the holiday and the wedding day was absolutely fantastic. All the guests had a great time and both the ceremony venue and the restaurant venue were superb. The second week in Viareggio was relaxing, but I enjoyed the first week more.

LESLEY SPINDLER & BRETT SALAFIA –Catholic wedding in Siena (28th May ’04)

Ciao Michela,

Many thanks again for the wonderful wedding.  It was truly a perfect and magical event.  We were both impressed with the level of organization.  Our assistants met us when and where we were supposed to.  Despite Padre Primavera changing the start time to 15:00, the flowers, photographer and organist were all right on time.  If there were any difficulties, they were behind the scenes.  Silvio had to make a few extra calls to facilitate the paperwork from the curia.

There are obviously distinct risks planning an event in a church sight unseen and a restaurant far away.  Lesley and I are both adventurous people, so we welcomed it.  Of course we worried about our guests and how well the whole event would happen.

Here are all of the positives:

1. The church was beautiful.  Padre Paolo is a lovely man who made us feel at ease.  The setting and the service were perfect.

2.  The meal at Osteria Da Divo was outstanding.  They timed the courses well, did not rush us, and prepared one of the nicest tuscan meals I've had.  (I lived in Siena for a few months in 1997, so I've had a few)

3.  Marco, the photagrapher seemed well versed in his use of the camera.  He indulged our individual requests and helped us to memorialize this special event.

4.  Silvio was a true gentleman.  He made sure Lesley and I were comfortable each step of the way.

5.  During the panning stages, and right through the wedding you have been easily accessible and attentive to our questions.  You took time to assure the details were perfect.

6.  Siena itself:  there really aren't words.  It is one of my (our) favorite places on earth.  The people, pace, food, and setting are priceless.  Walking through the streets in our formal wear with tutti personni clapping and shouting augeri was a unique experience.

There really were no negative aspects.  Obviously our issue with the hotel Athena is not your concern.  I will address my concerns with them.  If I had to say one negative thing, there was a little too much time between the photo tour and dinner.  We waited at a cafe and had a drink and enjoyed Siena, but I think our guests would have liked to eat earlier.

We spent time after the wedding in Capri, Pompeii and then Rome before we departed.  It was a wonderful and memorable two weeks.  We would highly recommend your service to anyone.  Please feel free to use us as a reference on your website.

Warmest Regards,

Brett and Lesley Salafia

TERRI HUNTER & NORMAN CHORN – Civil wedding in Venice (21st June ’04)

Hi Michela

Sorry for the delay in writing to you but we have not stopped working or travelling (luckily just around Australia) since we got back.

THANK YOU THANK YOU for everything that you did for us.

We had the most WONDERFUL wedding. It really was a dream come true.

Thank you for organising it for us.

Everything was not how I imagined because I really hadn't imagined how fabulous it was! It was beyond our dreams!

Please do include my comments for future clients and for your website. I think you did a fantastic job and would recommend your services to anyone thinking of getting married in Italy.

Everything on the day went like clockwork but in a very friendly and relaxed manner which is exactly as we had hoped it would.

There were so many highlights...the service was very emotional and beautifully done, the gondola tour was wonderful and so relaxing and a great way to experience some of Venice. Walking though St Marcs Sq to

the Quadri Caffe for our champagne reception made us feel like movie stars! In fact a friend was seated next to an American lady on a plane to the UK who described this wonderful wedding in St Marcs....and it was

ours!

Finally the reception at the Mabapa was much more than we expected and we were delighted with their service, their goodwill in letting us go on so late and their culinary skills. The food and cake were excellent.

I can't say how much we enjoyed ourself or how wonderful it was. It is an experience that will never leave us!

Finally all of your preparation and suggestions about venues, gondolas, where to go and what to do as well as the hen nite etc were very very helpful.

I really had the best wedding in the world.

All of the guests said it was the best wedding they had ever experienced.

Thanks again Michela

Look forward to hearing from you when you can and please remember if you ever get here to Sydney you must come and visit us!

Love

Terri & Norman Chorn

VALERIE LA ROSE & WILLIAM SHACKFORD – Catholic Wedding in Venice (26th July ’04)

Hi Michela:

Sorry it took so long to get back to you...we have been recovering from our trip!! Also how long will it take to get our photos, we have very anxious family members dying to see the pictures!!!

Just to let you know, we had a fabulous time in your beautiful country. From the moment we soared over the Alps in our plane, we knew that this was going to be a magical and unforgettable journey. Wedding Italy made everything wonderful. While both Bill and I worry over every little thing, the day of our wedding, we worried about nothing! Everything was so well planned, down to the minute and the day flowed because of it. We had a wonderful Catholic wedding in Venice. We had the great opportunity of meeting Father Aldo the night before the wedding and he showed us around the church. He said with great seriousness, "I hope you find our little church beautiful, of course tomorrow it won't look so bad!" We took one look around this beautiful 13th century church and said, "If it looks this bad tomorrow, then we will most definitely have the most beautiful wedding!" The church was absolutely gorgeous and to our surprise, Father Aldo even said the mass in English. As someone else had said in their wedding memories, we had our few moments of stardome, as we ventured from the quaint church through the various canals to St. Mark's square. Out of the windows of houses and from the tops of small bridges everywhere, the people of Venice cried, "Bella Sposa!" Tourists were intrigued as our caravan of gondolas, one with us and our close friends, and the other with wedding assistant, photographer, accordian player and to our surprise, serander in the other, waded slowly by them. Throughout our glorious trip, we heard beautiful music including, "O Solo Mio, That's Amore and we all chimed in for Volare." Of course my favorite part of the whole trip was when our gondolas got caught under one of the lower bridges, but even still our musicians played on. After this wonderful trip we ventured through St. Mark's square to have our pictures taken amongst the thousands of pigeons. This beautiful day was topped off by the unbelievable fireworks of the Festa di Rentedore. Thank you to Michela and Laura and Luisella for our wonderful day, that was a dream turned into reality. We will never forget you for all your work, nor our wonderful day.

Bene mil grazie!

Valerie and Bill

Chelsea Leiner & Dayven Johnston – Civil Wedding in Capri (26t August ’04)

Hello Michela,

Thank you so much for all of your help in coordinating our big day!

Everything was wonderful and we really appreciate your attention to detail.

It was so reassuring to keep hearing from you and know that you were taking care of all these details for us. Both Mary and Stephanie were such a great help to us. We couldn't have done it without them! Stephanie even came early to help me with my hair and her husband and friend came to act as our witnesses!

Capri is so beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding and honeymoon location.

The Caesar Augustus is gorgeous and our wedding dinner was perfect!

We can't wait to see the photos. Do you know if Mr. Amendola will be sending them directly to us or will they go to you first? We will be selecting one of the photos to use on our wedding announcement. Also, do

you know his website address? He told us he would be using one or two of our photos on his website and we're curious to see how they turned out.

Please feel free to use us as a reference or any comments you like.

Thanks again for all of your assistance! The day was perfect!

Best regards,

LINDA COOKE & PAUL STRANKS – Civil Wedding in Venice (27th August ’04)

Michela, we wanted to thank you for organising such a wonderful day for us!

It was absolutely fantastic and even better than we could have hoped for - we were just over the moon (as I am sure you could tell!). Also, our family really enjoyed the whole day too - we all thought you were lovely and that you did a great job for us.

Paul and I have been going over the day in our heads and we can't believe how perfect it was - and how nice everyone was too - it's almost as if we dreamed it really!

We are very excited about seeing the photos - the address you have is correct so please send them through as soon as you can - we can't wait to see them! We really liked the photographer - I think you choose really well there so thank you for finding him!

Please also send our thanks to Luisella the translator - she was so smiley and happy during the wedding too that it helped create a really lovely atmosphere during the ceremony itself.

Also, please pass our thanks to Laura who was very helpful and friendly in the beginning and kicked everything off very well.

Michela, Paul and I would be happy to provide a testimonial for you and the website. As I think we said to you on the day, we were both very pleased with the work you did for the wedding and the little of detail really made the difference from a good wedding to a perfect wedding - eg the boat, the canapes etc at the Hotel Des Bains etc. It was really lovely to actually meet you too and it was great to have you with us and share the day with us was also great and you made sure everything went so well.

Thanks again - and good luck send the photos through as soon as you can!

Linda

PS My sisters went to your recommended restaurant (sorry, can't remember the

name) on the Saturday evening and they loved it so thanks for the tip.

LORETTA MOSCARI & PAUL ANTURA – Protestant wedding in Positano (18 Sept.’04)

Dear Michela,

Thank you for your note. We had a perfect wedding. Everything went as planned and the hotel gardens were beautiful. Thank you for organizing the wedding. I was a little nervous because I was so far away and had to put all my trust in you and Laura, but I am so glad I did. There was no way I could have pulled off everything from here in the states. The Reverend Sidell and his wife Sue were so charming. I really liked them a lot. They made the wedding very special. I also appreciate you getting me flowers at the last minute. They were exactly what I wanted. The string musicians were fabulous and played everything that I wanted them to play.  Thank you for getting me the information about my husband's brother and sister-in-law. As you can expect, I am very excited to receive my wedding pictures.

Thank you again, Michela.

Sincerely,

Hi Michela

Thank you. We had the most amazing day, beyond anything we had hoped for!  From the beautiful flowers being delivered to the hotel, your thoughtful call just as we were leaving to attend the town hall, the lovely assistance by Louisella as interpreter to the wonderful reception at St Marks Square.  Everything had been taken care of so beautifully not only on the day but for the whole visit for ourselves and our guests.  Your recommendations for dining and the booking for of all was much appreciated.  We felt amazing and could enjoy what the day was really about and did not have a single concern or worry to take any of it away.  It was truely the best day of our lives and the beautiful photos are a permanent reminder of the magic.  Please also pass our warmest thanks to Louisella and the photographer who became part of our day.

The organisation of the wedding was wonderful, so easy and stress free which I believe is worth all the money in the world,

Positano was stunning and the day itself could not have been better. My family had a wonderful time and dinner worked out to be perfect, everything went to

Using wedding italy was the best thing I could have chosen, you made the day simple and stunning without

any cause for worry even from the other side of the world.

KELLY STEELE & MARK CONOR – Catholic wedding in Amalfi on May 19th,

Both Mark and I had a fantastic wedding day and all of our guests commented on how beautiful both the wedding ceremony and the wedding breakfast was. The service you provided was excellent and I would certainly recommend you to anybody who asked. The ceremony was perfectly co-ordinated and both the Priest and Rafaelle made the occasion very memorable for us as they ensured that we felt at ease and included all of our guests in the ceremony. Giovanni at the Luna Convento was an absolute star, he made sure that everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble for him to sort out. All of our guests commented on what a beautiful hotel it was and how lovely the food was although not many of us managed to finish all of the courses!! My wedding cake was enormous – I was not expecting it at all but it was like everything else fantastic. Both our coordinator and the photographer were also fantastic too – I cannot say anything else other than what a perfect day I had.

I would like to thank both yourself and Laura for everything that you did and anyone else that was involved in the organisation of my wedding. I have attached a photo of Mark and I taken in the grounds of the cathedral.

Thanks once again for all your help

ALEXIS MC MILLAN & SCOTT CLIFTON – Wedding in Siena

 Hi guys,

Scott and I recently returned to the US after our wedding trip to Siena, and I wanted to be sure to send you a thank you.  Our wedding was completely lovely, and perfect for the two of us.  Ameris and Daniela were both supremely helpful in the process.  Also, our photographer was amazing--we were blown away at how good the wedding photos look.

Again, we appreciate everything that you and your associates did for our wedding, especially considering what short notice our planning was.  Thank you for everything!

Marie Louise Deans & Nicholas Johnston – CATHOLIC WEDDING IN POSITANO (OCTOBER 4TH )

Dear Michela,

Thank you very much for all of your hard work during the organisation of our wedding.

The whole wedding went perfectly and we are very grateful for your help.

Positano and especially the Palazzo Murat are an ideal setting for a wedding.

The hotel staff were very friendly and always anxious to help.

The location - next to the church - is fantastic and made things very easy on the day for Nick and I, and our guests.

The meal was amazing and the waiters were extremely efficient.

(The only thing I would say is that the pictures you sent to us beforehand, of the hotel and dining area, didn't do the hotel and it's grounds justice).

Don Jon was lovely and made us both feel very comfortable and welcome in his church.

He made our wedding day and the service very special.  We liked the fact that he was very happy for photographs and a video recording to take place (some churches in the UK do not allow this inside the church).

The hotel Conca d'Oro was lovely inside and the views were fantastic.

The only drawback was its location and the steps leading up to it.

We didn't realise how far it was from the centre of town and the number of steps were a little difficult for some of our older relatives.

We are extremely happy with the service that you and Weddings Italy have provided and would be very happy for you to use our comments on your web site.

We could never have organized a wedding day like it without your help and we now have wonderful memories that will last forever. We would not hesitate recommending your services to others.

We hope you are well and not working too hard!

 Please keep in touch.

 Kind Regards

 Louise and Nick Johnston

Julie Wrenn & John Sisto – CATHOLIC WEDDING IN RAVELLO (OCTOBER 15TH )

Michela

The wedding was fantastic! Rosy did a excellent job of organizing the ceremony and Father John was great.  He really gave a meaningful ceremony for julie, myself and our families. The church was ideal both in its location and its long history. I thought that the photographers were very good and professional and made us feel that they were getting the best pictures for us.  Our guest thought that the violinist was outstanding and the flowers were beautiful.

Our trip was great, but not long enough. I would take at least one or two more days in Ravello and Positano.  I think it’s probably better to come in September to get warmer weather. We would be glad to have you use our comments as references in the future.

Lastly, your handing of the details and arrangements was excellent and very responsible.

 Thank you,

 Julie and john

ELLEN & GUY HILTON – WEDDING IN VENICE, JULY 26TH,

Alberto,

after such a wonderful Wedding day I hardly know how to thank you enough. You worked so hard and EVERYTHING was so PERFECT it was all better than I could have dreamed of.

All our guests were so impressed and its all down to you. They all think we spent an absolute fortune.

The wedding venue was absolutely beautiful, I really loved the balcony over looking the Grand Canal a stunning place for pictures! The official was so nice both He and Luisella really put feeling into the wedding. I was very touched by the gift of Venice glass from the council. If you speak to Luisella Thank her for all her help on the day she really put in that extra effort to make it all so lovely. Your recommendation of the harpist was perfect such beautiful music.

The pictures are FAB :-) Mara was so good she worked really hard. She chose a really lovely location.

The Gondolas were a really lovely way to travel back to the hotel. I wouldn't have missed that for anything. It was a truly impressive sight to see so many all in a row.

And Florian was just the perfect end to a truly wonderful day. We arranged their canopies & cocktail package

which for your future reference was a great idea. We all listened to the orchestra until very late.

THANK YOU SO MUCH  Alberto. You ARE A STAR  I will never forget the wonderful day and you for putting it all together. I look forward to using you again  when I want to return to Italy on holiday.

Both of your assistants do their job very well. I know the pictures are on the way, we can't wait to get them and share them with all our friends and family. e are eternally grateful for all of your help in making our wedding such a beautiful and memorable experience. Let me know if there is anything more we need to do. Sincerely- Rachael Corrigall

SUSAN AND JOHN SCHUMAN - WEDDING IN THE CASTLE NEAR VENICE

10th AUGUST

Hi Alberto!

We're finally getting settled back here at home after our wonderful trip to Italy.  I want to thank you for all of your help and patience during the planning of our wedding, and on our wedding day.  The whole weekend was beyond our expectations - truly a memory we will never forget.  And the ceremony was even more beautiful than I imagined.  The flowers, the music, the scenery, and the food were amazing.  You took care of so many details I never even thought about.  John and I are both thrilled with the way things went in Italy.  And all of our guests have given us millions of compliments about the wedding, and especially all of the excursions that you planned.  They all said it was an experience they will never forget.  (I've gotten the most compliments on the food - it was absolutely the best!)  But best of all, John and I got to spend some very special time with our families and friends, which was what was most important to us.

Oh, and thank you for your help with the honeymoon!  The room at the hotel was wonderful - we had a really great time!

Thank you so very much for all of your help, and all of your suggestions.  We are so happy with our wedding, and so happy we had your help!

I'll be happy to be a reference if you ever need one!

with many thanks,

Susan

Valeska & Steffen Collings – PROTESTANT WEDDING IN VENICE (12 Dec.’04)

Dear Michaela, Happy New Year. We are still trying to get over the excitement of December.

Karin and I would like to thank you so very much for all the hard work you put in to make Steffen's and Valeska's wedding such a memorable occasion. Apart from the fact that Venice is probably the most beautiful City in the world it still took that extra human touch to make it so special. You and your company certainly provided this. For everything to have run so smoothly, especially in a country known for it's beurocracy, was not a miracle, it was hard work and an eye to detail. It was a pleasure to have worked alongside you Michaela.

Katherine Woodward & Kyle Vanderpool – CIVIL WEDDING IN SIENA (15JAN)

 Hi Michela,

Kyle and I are safely home after a wonderful two-week visit to your beautiful country.  We had a great time and are sad to be home so soon!  We wanted to thank you all - you, Alberto, Ameris, Daniela, Maruo, and Carlo - for an absolutely perfect wedding day and for all the help with the

paperwork beforehand.  Going into the trip, we were certainly worried if everything would go as scheduled, and we were so thrilled when everything went according to your plan.  Everyone was on time, helpful, and extremely kind to us.  We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and the good weather in Siena that day was a special bonus!

Thank you again for such a perfect wedding day.  Words cannot express our thankfulness!  Please feel free to use us as a reference for any prospective clients.  Your services would be highly recommended by us.

Regards,

Kate and Kyle

Antonella Foto and Peter John Shaub – CIVIL WEDDING IN RAVELLO (JUNE 6 TH )

 Dear Michela & Laura,

I cannot tell you enough how wonderful our wedding and our stay in Italy was…..

Bruno Sacchi was great!!!  He was on time, very helpful and a very nice person.

Franco (our driver from Naples to Positano) from Positano Car Service was incredible!!!  Before our drive to Positano, he took us sightseeing in Naples and helped us at the airport when my mom’s flight was cancelled.  He went above and beyond what he needed to do to help us.   We were so pleased with them that we referred our family to use the service during their stay in Positano for sightseeing.  Danny (the driver from Positano to Ravello for the pre-meeting) and Antonello (the driver on our wedding day) where all great as well !!

The Hotel Miramare was wonderful.  They were extremely attentive, helpful and very gracious.  The hotel was impeccable, the service was 5 star quality and despite the 100 steps up and 200 steps down… it was worth all the sweat to stay at such a beautiful hotel.  It was perfect for our group.

Luisa (Luisa & Flavia Coiffeur) was great.  Rosie (interpreter) was incredibly helpful and so sweet…. And the photographer and cameraman were wonderful as well.  I cannot say enough about how incredible everything turned out.

One of our biggest and most pleasant surprises was Hotel Palumbo.  From the moment our group entered the hotel, their staff was ready to service.  The section they reserved for us was perfect and better than ever expected.  The flowers were absolutely AMAZING… I know my request for a particular design was asking a lot, but they succeeded in providing almost an identical design.   The food, wine and service were also very incredible.  I believe at one point we had 5 waiters serving us and our wine glasses were immediately refilled before they were half empty.  Our wedding cake was to die for…. Peter and I still wish we had asked for another piece…..It was so delicious!  Our family had a wonderful time and we were so happy with everything.

In addition, the people of Ravello and Positano were warm and welcoming.   Everywhere we went crowds where cheering “Auguri”.   When we ended the night (around 1am), we walked by the Positano Bar above Hotel Miramare.   The customers cheered and the bar owner poured a bottle of champagne for our family.   Peter and I ended the night dancing in the middle of the street while the musicians played, “I can’t help falling in love with you”.   It was a perfect ending to the most romantic wedding anyone could imagine.

Above all this incredible agenda could have not been possible without all your help, coordination and dedication to providing us a fairy tale wedding.  We are so happy and the memories of the day will never be forgotten.   Thank you for all you have done, you have left us all with our mouths open in amazement.   Peter and I would be more than happy to be references for anyone needing encouragement to use your services.   Thank you again for making us the happiest couple in the world.

Antonella & Peter Schaub

P.S.  We have a website, www.PeterandAntonella.com  if you would like to look at some of the pictures from the wedding.

Tiffany L. Baumann and James F. Cantelupe – CIVIL WEDDING IN CAPRI (JUNE 20TH )

Hello Michela,

Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time. Our wedding couldn't be any more perfect!!! From the weather, to the beautiful island, to the help and the arrangements; every detail was not forgotten and it made for an amazing wedding!

We just got home last night and I am still on the Italy time, so it is 3 in

the morning and I am awake on email! Sorry we di not email sooner, but I was

ill for 2 days after the wedding and did not leave the room, but it didn't

dampen our trip, we had a great time after and before.

 Thank you again for everything,

 Jim and Tiffany Cantelupe

Fiona Eunson and Ian Kent – CIVIL WEDDING IN AMALFI (JULY 1ST )

Hi Michela.

We had a wonderful time in Italy, in fact we can’t wait until our next visit!

We would certainly recommend a wedding in the Amalfi Coast. The scenery is spectacular and the romantic and relaxing atmosphere make it the perfect setting for any wedding. The fact that Wedding Italy had arranged everything for us meant that on our special day we could relax and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings which made our wedding a unique experience that we will always remember.

Preparation for our wedding day was made very easy as the people at Wedding Italy organised everything and kept us up to date via email. Our wedding was a very simple civil ceremony which was exactly what we had hoped for! Our day was made complete when we had dinner in the wonderful restaurant that Michela recommended. The food was fantastic and the candlelit setting was extremely romantic!

Can we just take this chance to say a big thank you! GRAZIE!!!

      Ciao

Mr and Mrs Kent

Gillian Statham & Karl Bania – CIVIL WEDDING IN VENICE (SEPTEMBER 9TH )

Hello Michela,

The wedding was great we could not have had anywhere more special than Venice, people just clapped and congratulated us around the streets.  The wedding service was wonderful, Gill cried and so did Louisella! Gill though her bouquet was beautiful! Louisella was really nice.  The rain held off for the gondola trip but started to pour it down once we arrived in St Marks.  We tried to stay around the square for the duration of the storm and ended up at Café Florian and were made to feel like royalty for 3 hours, we would recommend the service over Café Quadri, the orchestra even played the wedding march for us!

Best Regards

Karl & Gill (Mr & Mrs Bania)

Elizabeth Hardie & Luciano Musetti – CIVIL WEDDING IN CERTALDO (Sept. 11TH ’04)

 Hi Michela,

The whole week in Tuscany was lovely, and the actual wedding day a very happy day - which I think shows in the photos.  Certaldo is a great venue for a civil ceremony - and it was very relaxed.  We both had a great time.  The Hotel Il Palchetto was very comfortable and we had a wonderful large room - I think you know it anyway.  Everything went smoothly, your assistance and guidance in arranging the venue and help with the "paperwork" proved invaluable – we wouldn't have managed it without you.  The choice of Osteria for lunch was great - we ate and drank too much but, hey, it was our wedding!!

 Thanks Michela,

 Liz & Lou Musetti

Valerie Di Paolo & Joseph Rodrigues – CATHOLIC WEDDING IN POSITANO (OCTOBER 27TH )

Michela,

Thank you so much for your warm wishes in congratulating us.  We had a truly wonderful time in Italy!  We would like to extend our thanks to WeddingItaly and especially to yourself and to Giovanna for all the organisation that helped to make our day so memorable.  To have been able to get married in Italy, has been a great and rare privilege that has been bestowed upon us, and to have had the company of so many of our family and friends (giving us their love and support) made the occasion that extra bit more special.

It will take us a little while to thank all those concerned who helped to make it all happen.  If it is possible, please extend our appreciation and gratitude to Senor Lucibello and the other musicians, and soprano, for their fine and sensitive musicianship - many of the guests were moved very much by their performance. Please, if you can, also thank the photographer and videographer, on our behalf, for their care and attention during that day`s events.

We have already tried to express our deepest gratitude to the Palazzo Murat for the wonderful reception that took place in their beautiful gardens, and for the splendid accommodation and attentive service bestowed upon us and some of our guests.

We apologise that we we cannot give you more of our impressions for the timebeing, we will be looking to give you more feedback as regards those actual wedding organisational details at a later date, as we are very tied up with house moving at present!!

Thanking You,

Valerie and Joe

Tracy Tomlinson and Michael Kienitz – CIVIL WEDDING IN POSITANO (MAY 12TH )

 Michela,

Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding experience!  We arrived home last night and I wanted to let you know that we loved the whole trip - all of your recommendations for destinations and hotels and the wedding ceremony too!  Everything went great with the ceremony and Rosie did a wonderful job of coordinating and organizing everything the day of.

Tracy Tomlinson and Michael Kienitz – CIVIL WEDDING IN POSITANO (MAY 12TH )

 Kellie,

First of all....congratulations on your upcoming wedding!  We've been

married almost a year now and it seems like just yesterday.

We chose Wedding Italy largely because we found their prices to be in line

with a few other packages we saw on the web, and they were very responsive.

I had the same experience that you are having, where some of the companies

were not responsive.  This is possibly one of the worst things you could

have happen because they major form of communication is email and once you

are in Italy, you will not want to have to chase down your coordinator.

They were also one of the few companies who were willing to give us some

advice up front (before we signed an agreement with them).  We appreciated

that.

We were thrilled with Wedding Italy.  Michela was wonderful....she was our

"account manager" and helped us with all arrangements for the ceremony as

well as the rest of our itinerary while in Italy.  We spent 2 weeks there

and only 5 days were related to the wedding.  We went to Sicily and Rome

and Michela had welcome gifts, notes or champagne at each hotel she

assisted us in reserving.  I got sick while we were in Sicily and called

her on her cell phone for help communicating with the pharmacist, and she

was more than happy to interupt her dinner and help.  We never actually met

her in person, which felt a little strange but we realized we didn't need

to meet her because she had one woman meet us in Rome for paperwork and

another for the day of the ceremony.  Rosie was our wedding day coordintor

and she was fantastic.  All throughout, Michela followed up every day or 2

to make sure things were going okay.

We chose a very simple civil ceremony package with photography included.

The photographer was exceptional.  Did an excellent job of capuring the

flavor of our setting, etc.  Only suggestion I might make is that you

request they send only the proofs so you can choose which pictures you get

in your package.  Our guy chose for us and he did a good job but we didn't

realize that's what he was going to do.

If I were you, I would look at references, responsiveness and price.  We

found most of the packages to be comparable so service is really the

differentiating factor.  I would highly recommend Wedding Italy.

April is a beautiful time of year in Italy.  If you've never been to the

Amalfi coast . . . . you will be absolutely thrilled with the setting.

Positano is breath taking!  Not sure if you need a good hotel there but

Palazzo Murat is where we stayed.  It was great - very close to the beach

and easily accessible.  Here's the link in case you are interested.

Best of luck, hope this helps.

Linda Yun and Jason Racki – CIVIL WEDDING IN POSITANO (MAY 16TH )

Dear Michela,

We are finally back home and have gotten some rest after all the travel.

However, we know you must be as busy as ever now that summer has arrived!

Thanks again for all your help. We received the revised copies of our marriage licence from the Comune in the mail. Actually it had already arrived by the time we got home, so that was nice. We're really looking forward to getting the photographs soon. All of our friends and family keep asking to see them! I'm certain they'll turn out well, just as everything has in our entire experience with you and WeddingItaly.

Jason and I would happily and confidently recommend your services to anyone wishing to get married in Italy. Please feel free to use our comments and our names as your references to future brides and grooms.

Michela, you have provided us with timely, accurate and personal attention both during the planning of our wedding and afterwards, and we thank you so much for it. To be honest, we were a little anxious about how things would play out once we got to Italy, since most of our communication had been via email and not in person. But our anxiety disappeared as soon as Gino from the car service pulled up early to warmly greet our families and transport us to Positano.

We highly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Rosa. The staff was great, they made us feel welcome (large groups can be demanding!), and paid us special attention because we were getting married. All of us agreed that it's a lovely hotel.

Everything on our wedding day was extremely well-organized, from the transportation to the prompt arrival of the coordinator and photographer. Our families were so impressed. Rosie was kind and attentive, even though we had met for the first time. And the photographer was professional and very creative with the photos, which makes me more eager to see them! Please let us know when the pictures arrive.

Thank you for helping to make our wedding a memorable life experience.

Best regards,

Linda Yun and Jason Racki

Jill Stewart & John Fijal – CIVIL WEDDING IN VENICE (Fabruary 13th  )

Michela,

Sorry it has taken so long...but, on behalf of Jill and John, I personally wanted to thank you, as well as Alberto (he was great) on making the wedding planning/scheduling so beautiful.  Although it wasn't myself...as you thought..that was getting married in Venice, it was the most wonderful experience I know that I had - not to mention, Jill and John.  Everything that you suggested, planned, or devised to make Jill and Johns wedding day was absolutely wonderful.  It was such a pleasure to deal w/you.  If my husband and I were to do it again, or renew our vows, I would definitely do it that way...as long as I had you to guide me.  Actually, I don't know if you remember way back when, but when you thought that I was actually Jill w/in our plannings..I may or may not have told you that another couple that was going on the trip was going to celebrate their 10yr wedding anniversary on February 13 (the day of Jill and Johns wedding)...well, that was actually myself and my husband and we did consider to renew our vows w/Jill and John, but then I decided not to take "the day" from those two.  But, if we ever do it-I'll let you know.

Any way, I did want to touch base with you and thank you again for all your help and wish you best in all your future endeavours.

 Best of Luck,

Thanks again,

Tammy Szczebak (aka Jill Stewart, so you thought)

Adrian Carrington & Tamsin R. Fullwood - CIVIL WEDDING IN VENICE (Fabruary 14th  )

Michela,

I would like to say thank you for the wedding, it all went perfectly. It is hard to believe that we could organise something from so far away and everything to be fine. Everything that you provided was fine, the co-ordinator and photographer were such nice people who helped make the day. Venice was such a lovely place to be married and the fact that all our guests could be accommodated was a real bonus. I would be happy for you to use any of my comments as references and also if anyone would like to contact us to ask how it went.

Thankyou again for arranging and helping to make our wedding special.

 Adrian

Laureen Zacker & Ivan Piedrahita – CIVIL WEDDING IN FLORENCE  (March 26th  )

 Michela,

Thank you so much for making the most important day of our lives even more special.  I can not begin to tell you how perfect it was!  Ilaria was amazing, she was so friendly and helpful.  We couldn't have done any of it without her!  Ivan and I were amazed at how easy it was to take care of the paperwork.  All of that would have taken months to accomplish here in the states.  Everything was so well planned and arranged, I didn't even have a minute to be worried or stressed.  The hairdresser and make-up artist were fabulous, they made me look gorgeous.  On the day of the wedding, everything ran like clockwork.  The hairdresser arrived, did my hair, then came the make-up artist, in the middle of that the flowers arrived (they were beautiful - exactly how I imagined them to be!!), then I slipped on my dress, the phone rang telling me that the car was waiting downstairs, I had a minute to catch my breath, and then I was off to get married!!.  The driver of the car was as friendly as can be!!  He brought us to the Palazzo Vecchio where the photographer was waiting for me as I stepped out of the car.  I waited in the courtyard for a few minutes and then I went into the room to meet Ivan.  The wedding ceremony was beautiful and wonderful.  Before I even knew it, Ivan and I were married!!!  It was a wonderful feeling!  We then left Palazzo Vecchio to take some pictures and we were greeted by cheers and wishes from all the people in the street.  That was really nice!  Then we were led all around taking pictures - which I can't wait to see!!  After the pictures, the driver brought us to Oseteria #1 for lunch - which was again, amazing!  We were the only ones in the restaurant and we were able to have a delicious meal together.  It was very relaxing!  They even gave us a cake!!  That evening Ivan and I had a romantic candle-lit dinner at Cibreo.  It was a wonderful end to a perfect day!

I can not say ANYTHING bad or negative about our experience with your agency and everyone who delivered services to us.  Everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and most of all friendly.  I would recommend a wedding in Florence, Italy to anyone.  There was no stress involved whatsoever, and it was amazingly romantic and beautiful.  Thank you again, and everyone that was involved, in making that day one of the best days of our lives.  We will remember this forever, and all that made it possible.

Please keep in touch, and I'm sure we will be back soon - I loved your country!  Thanks again!!

 Ivan and Laureen Ulloa

Lisa Borden & Raymond Giudice – PROTESTANT WEDDING IN CAPRI (April 23rd )

Dear Michela,

Everything was absolutely perfect.

As you know, we spent the first week of our trip travelling through Italy.  We started in Rome, which we enjoyed very much. …..

Our wedding day in Capri was perfect.  The weather was beautiful.  Our coordinator, Stephanie, met us in our hotel lobby an hour before the service.  The photographer also met us there.  As we walked through the town to the church, people called out their best wishes to us.  A small crowd followed along to the church.  Along the way, we encountered the priest drinking espresso in a sidewalk cafe, and he joined our little procession.  The priest was very charming and an interesting fellow.  The Lutheran church in which we were married was tiny and beautiful.  A violinist played softly during the service.  Our service was very moving.  We corresponded with the priest in advance about Bible readings, and he added many of his own special touches.

After the service we walked to a nearby hotel, where Stephanie, Father Murray, and the photographer joined us for a post-wedding cocktail and conversation.  Although our photographer spoke no English, he did a great job directing us to various spots for additional photos and letting us know just what he wanted us to do.

That evening we had a wonderful dinner at the Villa Brunella.  Both food and service were excellent, and the view was magnificent.

We spent the remainder of our time in Capri lounging around by the pool and, again, eating far too much.  When we departed, our tour guide, Marcello, picked us up in Naples and drove us back to Rome for our flight home.

This was my first trip to Italy, and my husband's fourth.  We can't wait to return!  And, based on our wonderful experience, one of our trips may some day include a renewal of our wedding vows.

Thank you so much for making our wedding day one that we will never forget.  I can't wait to see the pictures.

 Lisa and Ray Giudice

Corah Dempsey & Christopher Carney –

CIVIL WEDDING IN VENICE (May 9th )

Good morning Michela,

We have just got back from a week in Florence after the wedding.

Can I say a huge thank you for all your help organising our wedding.  We had the most wonderful time and everything was perfect.  I'm still on a high!

All your suggestions were fantastic - drinks in Quadri's and the Antico Martini restaurant was just superb.  Even the weather was just right!  Both us and our guests had a truly fantastic time - with lovely memories of Venice.  Thank you again.

ANDRIKA DAYTON AND MICHAEL BROWN – WEDDING IN VENICE

Dear Jill,

Getting married in Italy is one of the best things I have done in my life.  My husband and I decided to get married in Venice for several reasons: we love Venice, we wanted a small wedding abroad, the residency requirement for getting married in France was too much for us, and Michael's brother was going to be in Venice for two months on a research project.  We wanted a small wedding and by having it in Italy, it relieved us of the obligation to invite a large crowd.

I knew we needed a wedding coordinator to handle the paperwork o for us in Italy and found several names on the internet.  I emailed about ten agencies and got a response from Alberto’s company within the hour.  I was so impressed, I thought these people are really on the ball.  So, even though I am a very skeptical person and tend to double check every reference, I signed up with them without even checking their references.

It turned out to be the saving grace of the wedding.  Michela was very upfront with all the costs and if she suggested something, she always laid out how much it would be.  I didn't have any unpleasant surprises in that regard. Michela also told me exactly what paperwork I needed and how to get it.  The paperwork is a bit daunting.  By the time we finished I had a stack about three inches tall, all stamped, notarised and translated.  I began to think that the invasion of Normandy required less documentation.  If you are pretty organized and use FedEx and follow up phone calls, it's not so bad.  Just a lot of details to take care of - as in ANY wedding.

We decided to have a civil ceremony rather than a religious ceremony, so that required us to get married at the matrimonial part of town hall, the Palazzo Cavalli.  It's located on the Grand Canal, right down from the Rialto bridge and is lovely.  You really feel the sense of generations of Venetians who have been married there.

Michela suggested a wedding gondola instead of a regular gondola.  It cost more, but was entirely worth it.  It made such a difference in the pictures.  She arranged for flowers and music as well as the gondola and photographer.  My main goal with Michela was to have her facilitate the paperwork and so I wasn't too focused on the other details.  I figured they were part of the package, but didn't expect anything great ( I thought it would be along the lines of carnations and a boom box).  Was I wrong!  The flowers were perfect - lovely elegant and a perfect complement to my dress. We had a harp and flute at the ceremony who were delightful and the pictures.... I have never seen such wonderful wedding pictures EVER.

First of all, the photographer made me look great, for which I am very grateful (after all you'll be looking at these for a long time) and second she got shots of us everywhere in Venice.  The quality of the pictures is better than I had ever hoped for - either in the US or anywhere elses.  The pictures are so good that I have had calls from people who I don't even know, but are friends of friends, asking to come over and see the pictures because they heard that they were so spectacular.

After the ceremony and our jaunt around Venice in the wedding gondola taking pictures, we returned to our hotel and had a lovely luncheon outside on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. After lunch, we strolled through St Marks Square and went to Harry's Bar for bellinis.  It's a tradition for brides to stroll through St Marks and it makes you fell quite special - old women come up and wish you good luck, old men shout out Bella Sposa (beautiful bride) and the younger men just tell your hubby what a lucky man he is.  It's quite a way to start the marriage.

All in all, it is one of the most enjoyable memories I have.  I was married before with a huge wedding on the eastern end of Long Island and it was such an exhausting affair.  I'm so glad we chose to skip the production and have a truly memorable wedding.

I wish you all the best Jill.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call, email, fax or whatever.  I know it's scary putting your trust in someone to handle the details of such an important event, especially when it's so far away, but I had the absolute best experience with WeddingItaly and wouldn't hesitate a minute to use them again.  In fact I wouldn't have been able to do it, or more importantly ENJOY it, without them!

PS. We were married in September, but I just recently received a follow up email from another company that I had contacted in August saying they would get information out to me soon. Not everyone is as efficient as Alberto and Michela.

SCOTT MCELNEY, WEDDING IN VERONA

"Alberto,

I just thought I would send you a note to thank you for what was a fantastic wedding in Verona. I was really nervous on the way over to Italy from Scotland, as we really had entrusted you with one of the most important days of our lives. What can I say. Right from the start, everything was brilliant, and it got better the longer we were in Italy. The day itself was fabulous, Alessandro (our co-ordinator) was tremendous. She was up until 2am making sure she had her lines right for interpreting the wedding vows and she was brilliant. We had a unique and perfect day that we could never recreate anywhere else. Not only that, but you also arranged for us to have lunch with an Italian family, we sampled the wines at a vineyard, tasted olive oil, had coffee in the middle of a vineyard in Chianti, visited some beautiful areas in the Chianti region that tourists don’t get to see, seen the best of Italy in such a short space of time. Its fair to say, that without all the arrangements you made, it would not have been anywhere as good as what you made it. Also, the fact that we could phone you at any time, made it even better. Keep up the good work, and ps, I hope its not only weddings you arrange as we want to come back!!!!!"

Cheers

Scott McElney

JANE AND BENNY NORDHAL, WEDDING IN VENICE

"Hi Alberto!

I would like to say Thank You So Much for your help. Benny and I really enjoyed our trip to Italy, so did our family. We appreciate you personally helping us in Trieste and all the work leading up to the wedding. The civil ceremony was fine and so was the church. Although we were all a little worried about the priest. He was sweating a lot and his hands were shaking throughout the ceremony. In the end we asked him if he was OK and he said yes. The gondola ride was fantastic! It was very memorable and will cherish our experiences in Venice. The ride was very scenic and relaxing. The Cipriani was great. The food and service was extremely well and it gave Benny and I sometime to relax. The wedding cake was beautiful! It was some kind of strawberry napoleon. It was very delicious also! The photographer, Mara, was easy going and fun to have as a photographer. We are very excited and anxious to see our photos and album. When will we receive them? Please let me know, as we are about to leave for Sweden on the 17th of June.

Thank you again for all your efforts, we had a very magical time in Venice. We are sure we will be back!"

Kind regards,

Jane N. Nordahl

ANTHONY AND SANDRA JOYES, WEDDING IN RAVELLO

"Hi Alberto and Buon Giorno

.... The first week at Palasso Sasso was SUPERB - please make sure the General Manager there knows just exactly how delighted we were.  And please tell him that EVERY single member of his staff contributed to that. (P.S.  There is a lovely young bird in the restaurant called ... Marilena ? I think that was it..... but ALL of the guys in our party wanted to take her home with them!!) As for Ravello, it is beautiful, and the people are so pleasant and friendly - unlike, I am sad to say, the people we found in the North!  And the wedding was a treat, simple and easy, and undertaken with real interest and flair by the Mayor and his team. In simple terms, if it had not have been for the World Superbikes - which were brilliant - we would never have left Ravello. You must be congratulated for putting us in touch with such a perfect place, and for ensuring that everything, went without a single hitch - THANK YOU from both of us!! ..."

Ciao

Anthony

ROBERT AND DANA DAWKNINS, WEDDING IN POSITANO

"Alberto,

We definitely appreciate all your efforts. The wedding and trip to Positano was a wonderful experience. The wedding was beautiful, everyone is still talking about it and will remember it forever. I was actually wondering if you could send me a photograph of yourself. I am putting together a scrapbook of things from the wedding and honeymoon trip in my time off and would like to put a picture of you in as you are definitely part of the story! I realized I forgot to mention that we are of course happy to be added to your reference list..."

Ciao

MARY AND ROBERT CARBONI, OUTDOOR WEDDING in PORTOVENERE

Alberto,

Thank you so much for the amazing job you did coordinating our wedding!  I really appreciate your endless patience for all my questions.  :)  You helped to make not only our wedding day special, but our entire trip as well.  It was great to be able to get information from a native Italian instead of only from American friends who have been to Italy or from travel books.  We have many wonderful memories of both the ceremony and of your country which will last a lifetime. The ceremony location you helped us choose was absolutely perfect.  The view was breathtaking!  I couldn't think of a nicer or more beautiful place in the world to have a wedding!  Everything went very smoothly and everyone was incredibly kind to us.  Fulvia did an excellent job and had a great sense of humor as well!  Please send our thanks to everyone who was involved, including the woman who married us, Alessandra, Alessandro, Rolando, and the photographer.  Everyone made us feel very special. Thank you again for everything!!  I would be very happy to serve as a reference for you and your company!

Grazie mille!

Mary and Robert Carboni

CASSANDRA AND SHAWN WINDSOR, WEDDING IN CASTELLINA

Alberto,

Now that Shawn ans I have returned from our trip and things are getting back to normal, we wanted to thank you for a perfect wedding! Castellina was the most beautiful setting! We truly loved the region of Tuscany and we are already thinking about a trip back there one day. The restaurant was fantastic! We had a wonderful meal. We were especially pleased with the photographer and the photos he took. Marco was really fun and easy to work with. He took photos that captured the feelings we shared that day. It was perfect and we thank you for helping us make our wedding dreams come true. We've attached some pictures from that day for you to see. Thanks Alberto. You can definitely use us in your references.

Sincerely,

Cassandra and Shawn Windsor

SIGMUND AND FELICIA, Luxury honeymoon in Italy

Dear Alberto

The honeymoon was great!  The value of a 5-star hotel was immediately evident at Bellagio as they had no trouble helping me with one lost luggage bag. Florence was especially nice.  Silvio was a very interesting man and we definitely had more fun adjusting our schedule to see Chianti and talking about the overview of Florence. It really seems to be a process of "making friends" rather a type of guide/tourist relationship - and we enjoyed it immensely. The guides really made the honeymoon quite special.  The private cars also helped quite a bit in that our luggage was a little bulky - definitely not designed for Florentine streets.  The Hotel de Ville actually had the largest rooms and their staff seemed more competent than at Verona but I suppose this is due to the increased tourism in Florence.  We must plan our next trip to Italy I think we need to see Capri Rome Portofino. Luisella was great in Venice and we wish we had made more time to spend with her.  All in all I think the private guided tours are what made this honeymoon much superior to what we saw other tourists doing.  I would not imagine coming back to Italy without a guide - otherwise we would have been stuck with a much more superficial experience.  I suppose this level of service and pride of work, which at the best hotels, makes the travelling unique.  Well next time! No problem using us as a reference

Thank you

Sigmund and Felicia

CHERYL PATTERSON AND AARON SIKORA – CATHOLIC WEDDING IN CASTELLINA IN CHIANTI

Aaron and I are back home and happily married.  We would like to thank you once again for all your help and extra effort.  You really helped to make our wedding day and trip to Italy a memorable one. Everything was wonderful.

We would specifically like to let you know that the hotel in Florence was perfect.  The four poster bed was incredibly romantic and the breakfasts in the room were great - the hotel staff were also wonderfully helpful.

The supper that you arranged for us in Castellina was also fantastic.  We asked the staff to choose our meals and we were delighted with what they chose for us.  We hope that you continue to recommend this restaurant in the future as they made our wedding supper unforgettable.

We also had a chance to meet the other Canadian couple who were married in Castellina on the same day – I think Alberto was doing the arrangements for them.  It was a nice coincidence.

Thanks again for everything.  Please feel free to give our names and emails as references to other couples who are interested in arranging a wedding through you.  Please know that we will recommend you highly.

Teri Thompson and Scott Hagerdorn – Wedding in Amalfi

Hi Alberto,

We had a wonderful time in Italy and were extremely pleased with the work you and Giovanna did.  Giovanna was an absolute delight, and I've been trying to tell you that we would love to be a reference for you and your company any time!  Everything was perfect.  If I can send you the link today, you'll be able to see the flowers that Posaflora did for us - which were amazing.  The owner was so great to us, and he let me pick out the flowers for my hair (which he had sent in from Ravello).

Amalfi was the perfect place to get married, and we're looking forward to getting our pictures and video soon.  We actually signed a note on our door last night for a package that should be delivered today.  Doyou think it could be the photos?

I hope you get this!  We have definitely not forgotten you!  Please let me know if you get the link to our pictures today.  I'll send them right now.

KIMBERLY AND ALEX MODINGER – WEDDING IN LAKE ORTA

Hi!

I have been trying to get in touch with you. I am glad your email is working again.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

M         I           L          L          E

G          R          A         Z          I           E          !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Words cannot express how happy we are with how perfectly everything, and we mean everything, turned out. You and your company are professionals of the highest degree. Please put us on your reference list (as if you need anymore, I am sure!)

Francesca was a dream in Milan, so intelligent! Phillippa is wonderfully friendly and made everything look so easy. My dad met her the morning of the wedding, at her husband’s shop, and Alex and I went down to meet her and buy me an umbrella for the ceremony. I think she would have liked to fix the weather, but we really didn’t mind. In fact it made for some wonderfully dramatic pictures of the lake and island.

Orta San Giulio is a wonderful and truly magical place. We were applauded and cheered as we walked through the town square with the photographer. Our parents also became slightly famous during the rest of their stay in the town, because people recognized and congratulated them on the wedding.

The Hotel San Rocco was especially nice, and the staff did a wonderful job with the reception. The food was spectacular. Everyone left happy after that meal!

We left the day after the wedding, and made it to Venice for the record setting Aqua Alta! Another amazing experience, although one I was glad did not last too long. Our only regret is that our time was so short. We could easily have stayed another week, or two, or three!

Well, before I bore you too much, please use the following  contact information and add us to your list of ecstatic clients.

Again, thank you so much. Do you want me to email you some of our pictures? We don’t have the photographer’s yet, but we do have some nice ones from our digital camera.

 Sincerely, Kim

LOUISE METCALFE AND SIMON LEWTHWAITE – WEDDING IN VENICE (BRITISH)

We have just arrived back from Venice and I wanted to write to you to tell you how wonderful everything was and to thank you for all your help and organisation. I hope that you can see via the attached photos that we had a brilliant time !

Everything was perfect and everyone agreed that getting married in Italy was a magical experience. My flowers were perfect and included all my favourite flowers and colours. The Antico Martini was fantastic and even the most ardent meat-eaters were impressed by the quality and variety of the food and the professionalism of the staff. And Luisella was absolutely marvellous - she has just the right type of personality and character for the job of wedding translator. Our parents particuarly enjoyed the gondola ride to the ceremony with Luisella as she gave a fascinating commentary on  the buildings and bridges that we past by.  Would it be possible for you to send me Luisella's address so I can send her a thank you ?

All in all, we had an amazing time and we are so glad that we found you on the Internet. Initially we were nervous about organising a wedding via e-mail but I can honestly say that it was the best decision that we made. You were so helpful and organised that I can honestly recommend you (and Wedding Italy) to anyone ! Please feel free to use Simon and I as references for other couples who are thinking of getting married in Italy.

I will miss our regular e-mails but PLEASE get in touch if you come to England as we would love to meet you and personally thank you for all your help,

 Many thanks again,

 Louise and Simon

JENNIFER BRAME AND DAVID JOHNSTON – PROTESTANT WEDDING BLESSING IN CAPRI

 Hi Guys,

I know I already thanked you, but again our wedding was perfect and we would be delighted for you to use us as any reference to any other couples who are interested in doing something the same or similar. highly recommended. I have just emailed rev Murray also to send him thanks and regards, he is a wonderful man (didn't realize he's from the uk originally) he made us feel comfortable before, during and after the ceremony, and what a sense of humour! the photographer Mr Enzo was amazing, also his assistant, who concentrated more on black and white shots. Mr Enzo took over the Capri palace ha ha ! in order to take the best shots, this was very amusing. Francesca was very sweet and well organized and on hand in need of anything, she also assisted taking photo's with our personal camera. after the blessing we took a scenic drive through Anacapri, which was breathtaking, for yet more memorable pictures. We returned back to the hotel around 7.30 and had a dinner reservation at the Capri palace, the table was quiet, romantic, and

the food incredible. It was just what we wanted to finish up a perfect day. The following morning before we checked out we had breakfast on the private terrace in the room. I have to say that the service at the Capri palace was excellent, the staff (especially the hair stylist, Carmel). I would highly recommend them, and of course Capri for a perfect romantic location. I want to thank you also for making the booking at the Santa Lucia hotel. It also was a lovely, very quaint hotel. The breakfast was out of this world!

A funny story about this hotel. After David and I walked around by the sea front, and had a wonderful dinner of seafood, we went back to the hotel for a night cap. The gentleman behind the bar was adorable. He has worked at this hotel for 26 yrs and has seen so many people come and go. He asked us  where in Italy we would be visiting, after we told him the following day we were to be married, he opened us a bottle of champagne, and had a toast with us, he also brought the piano player from a wedding upstairs, down, to play 'when I fall in love' and 'somewhere over the rainbow' for us, we danced and it was very romantic.

You see Laura these are the things we will always remember, the kindness and warmth of people.

If we can be of any help, by sharing our trip with anyone, we would be happy.

Jennifer and David

ANDRIKA DAYTON AND MICHAEL BROWN – Wedding in Venice

They are the presidents of the Company www.STREEWISEMAPS.com

 Dear Alberto,

Thank you for your email.  Doesn't the wedding seem so long ago?  It is the bright image I think of in contrast to all the gruesome images we have seen lately.  You did such a superb job - I cannot thank you enough for making that day so perfect.  From beginning to end, it was lovelier that I had ever imagined.  You are so good at what you do.

MARK VINCENT MARTINO AND VIRGINIA THOMPSON – Wedding in Cividale del Friuli

 Dear Alberto,

From the deepest part of our hearts we cannot thank you both enough for such a spectacular time in Italy.  As our first venture out of the States and our first time being married, we had many expectations and some fears of travel abroad.  From the first moment we met, we knew we where in the hands of professionals and at the same time, in the hands of special people taking care of their clients.  We have the greatest and utmost respect for the treatment and friendship you provided to us, our family and friends.  You went out of your way many times over, taking care of our needs and helping us discover the beauty of your country.

We give the deepest thanks to you again in helping to comfort us in our country's most tragic event.  Your words throughout helped our stay and made our special day only better.  September 11, , will not only be in our minds forever but it will also be remembered by us as the time in Italy where Alberto and Michela, our wedding planner and now friend, helped our wandering minds off the tragic, and back to what we were there for – our wedding and love to each other.

Your business of planning great and unforgettable weddings as you state is not quite the whole truth.  We believe you provide a sense of trust, friendship and love as well, making all weddings and the world a wonderful place.

A special thanks to you Alberto for helping me "finalize" all the paperwork required for our special occasion.  I could see my hair turning gray each day before our e-mail correspondence began.  Another "ten" for you and Punto di Fuga, a day did not go by without an immediate response.

"Our day" in Italy was indeed the most special day of our lives, and you and your staff are responsible for helping us create our most cherished memory.

 Mille grazie,

Mr. and Mrs. Mark V. Martin
