Each room at Villa Margherita is unique - decorated with old world antiques but still with modern amenities: television, phone, private bath, comfortable beds. Many of our clients have loved this charming B&B with just one complaint: It should not matter 10 months of the year, but if your trip is in July or August be advised that most of the rooms are not air conditioned. The staff is multilingual: English, French, Spanish and, of course, Italian. Built in 1906 and recently restored by the Campodonico family, Villa Margherita is a classic Italian villa located on the last undiscovered coastal section of the Italian Riviera, in the village of Levanto. One train stop north of the Cinque Terre (less than 8 minutes) this is an excellent base for your trip to this region. Although small, Levanto is a larger and more vibrant town with more amenities than the Cinque Terre villages and is a better base for travelers. You can easily drive in and out of Levanto and you are connected to the Cinque Terre villages and other towns on the Italian Riviera by train or boat.
