Travel Plans International (TPI) designs and operates vacation packages and customized tours for North America’s most discerning travelers . Our focus markets are Europe and the South Pacific (New Zealand, Tahiti, and Australia). We also have significant experience in South and Central America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. With a special emphasis on superior quality and personalized service, it is our goal to cause your travel to be delightful entertainment and to broaden your knowledge of the world. TPI was formed in 1970 by Marie-Pierre Griffin (pictured to the left), the 1999 recipient of the French Ministry of Tourism's "Medaille d'Or du Tourisme". During 35 years with TPI, she supervised a highly professional staff in custom-designing and implementing fine cultural tours for some of the nation's most prestigious museums, universities, cultural associations and sophisticated travelers. Today, Marie-Pierre and husband Peter have dual residences in Provence, France and Hinsdale, Illinois. Marie occasinally serves as a valued consultant to TPI.

Through 38 years of trial and error, we have narrowed our list of

  partners in each country to the crème de la crème. In each of the forty countries served, our representatives, private car companies and drivers, coach operators, ground operators, cruise lines, hotels, restaurants, and leisure activity partners are the people and organizations whose service has stood the test of time with the world’s most discerning travelers – our customers.
